PxScanner

Privacy Policy

Effective October 28, 2026

This policy covers the PxScanner app for Android, made by Najam ("we"). PxScanner has no accounts and we run no servers, so we never receive your documents or personal data.

Your documents

Scanning, merging, splitting, compressing and converting all happen on your device. PxScanner only opens files you pick through Android's file picker, and saves results where you choose. Your files are never uploaded by the app.

Data stored on your device

This data stays on your phone. You can remove recent items in the app. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it.

Document scanner

Scanning uses Google's ML Kit document scanner through Google Play services. Your scans are processed on the device. Google may collect usage and diagnostic data about the scanner, as described in the ML Kit terms. PxScanner does not request camera permission itself. Google Play services handles the camera.

Ads

PxScanner is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect:

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice any time under Settings → Privacy options in the app. Elsewhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings under Google → Ads.

Read more in How Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.

Permissions

Sharing and selling

We don't collect your personal data, so we don't sell or share it. Data collected by Google is handled under Google's policies linked above.

Children

PxScanner is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow ads to collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
